History & Traditions

Implementing the mission of Saigon Technology University, the school worked with the Ministry of Education and Training to apply for a license to open an International Training Cooperation program in 2016. Early in the year 2017, the International Training Program Center was established to fulfill this significant mission.

In initial years of establishment, the undergraduate partnership program between STU and Troy (Troy-STU) had been one of the first fully successful programs of an American University in Ho Chi Minh City and had attached as many as new applicants. By late 2007, appropriately 400 new students applied to this program for Intake 3. Since 2011, Troy STU program has been recognized the successful program in regard to the quantity in Asia. Until 2017, the enrollment has been reaching over 1,000 students and more than 500 graduates awarded Troy’s degree.
