On the afternoon of September 29, 2025, Saigon University of Technology (STU) officially inaugurated the 2nd Japanese Language Class.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from STU, including:

• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Hao Thi – President of STU
• Dr. Nguyen Tung Lam – Director of International Training Program Center (ITPC)
• Dr. Le Duc Tuan – Head of the Faculty of Civil Engineering
• Dr. Hoang Trung Tien – Head of the Department of Scientific & Postgraduate Affairs

Representatives from Daishin Company, Japan also attended the ceremony, including:

• Mr. Ikebata Kohta – CEO of Daishin Consultant
• Mr. Shimomura Takeo – Director of Daishin Vietnam Consultants
• Mr. Chau Thai Thuan – Deputy Director of Daishin Vietnam Consultants and an alumnus of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, STU

Together with the instructors and students of the 2nd Japanese Language Class

The program is designed with rich and diverse content, focusing on developing all four language skills – listening, speaking, reading, and writing – while integrating knowledge of Japanese culture and society.

The official inauguration of the Japanese Language Class marks the beginning of the students’ journey in learning the language and exploring Japanese culture.
