On the morning of June 18, 2026, Saigon Technology University (STU) organized the workshop “EMI and AI – Trends Shaping the Classroom of the Future.” The event was attended by the University Board, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Hao Thi, President, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoàng Kim Anh, Vice President, along with faculty leaders, department heads, lecturers, and staff members across the university.


The program was jointly organized by the International Training Program Center (ITPC) and Horizon TESOL with the aim of updating participants on emerging trends in higher education, particularly English-Medium Instruction (EMI) and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in teaching, research, and academic administration.


In the context of rapid digital transformation and the internationalization of education, enhancing professional competencies, innovating teaching methodologies, and adapting to technological advancements have become essential requirements for educators. The workshop focused on providing specialized knowledge while fostering innovative thinking and strengthening the university’s capacity for international integration.

In addition to the presentations, the panel discussion and academic exchange session featured diverse perspectives closely connected to real-world educational practices. The session created opportunities for lecturers to share experiences and discuss both the opportunities and challenges arising in modern education.
